It's Earth Day!

It's Earth Day today, and another classic example of promotional products being used to promote an initiative and reward participants for their contributions. This year's event in Atlanta, Georgia featured several promotional items and giveaways all designed to carry the Earth Day message. This year Atlanta's Mayor Shirley Franklin addressed the participants and thanked them for their efforts. The Mayor has identified the BeltLine as a major project for Atlanta for the years to come.  It will help reduce car traffic by allowing for new means of mass transit, including a trolley, and bicycle paths.  As you can see, a map of the BeltLine was incorporated into the promotional tee shirt giveaway for this year's Earth Day.
